Sheep Study

I was snowed in at home and decided to do a head study of sheep while I watched the snow fall. It was such a peaceful moment and what better subject than sheep to paint on such a peaceful quiet day. I love the texture the wool creates and the gentleness of the eyes. This 8 x 10 has been framed in gold which enhances the warm colors of this painting .
