Wren in the Willow

Carolina Wrens are some of my favorite birds to paint. I couldn’t help hearing the song by Loggins and Messina ,” Love Song” playing in my head “there’s a wren in the willow wood, flys so high and sings so good..”. I wanted to play with the new Pantone for 2024, “Peach Fuzz”. This was truly a delightful painting to create.
